New Year – New Look

We are always really pleased when our customers email us photographs of their new kitchen, its very exciting, we all gather around the computer and there are lots of oohs and arhhs and designers feeling very happy when the kitchen is completed and it looks even better than they had imagined. This last week or so we have had two very kind customers who have sent us beautiful images of their new kitchen. They are both Shaker kitchens and the look is definitely contemporary. Industrial style lighting, long slender Islands with the minimum of cupboard fuss, sleek worktops and very simple styling. This move towards a less traditional Shaker look is really popular and it just shows how versatile our cabinets really are. I particularly like very dark paint colour mixed with the wooden worktops and metro tiling. The combination could seem contradictory, yet it gives a soft but very clean look without
being harsh or un homely, a clever use of materials.
