new cupboard colours

We are introducing two new colours to our paint range for the Real Shaker Kitchen, it’s been a while since we last added to our choices with ‘Pantry Blue’ and ‘Lead’ and they have become firm favourites with all our customers.
At the moment, John our project manager has informed me that ‘Mushroom’ tops the charts with ‘Pantry Blue’ a close second and then ‘Lead’, so we are hoping to get a whole wave of lovely new kitchens to photograph in our latest new colours, ‘Village Green’ and ‘Trinity Blue’.
Village Green is a lovely old school colour, a little on the olivey side of greens. Dark greens are definitely on the radar this Autumn, but we know this particular shade will compete well with racing greens but will also stand the test of time. It’s soft and warm and will go perfectly with our ‘Linen’ for a fresh but classic look. Mixed with the bella brass knobs and a honed black granite worktop I think you will have painted cupboards you won’t tire of looking at for a very long time. It’s so hard to think of original names for our paint colours as they have all been done before, so we hope ‘Village Green’ will conjure up some lovely thoughts to inspire you.
‘Trinity Blue’ came from the colour of an old Cambridge University silk scarf I have of my fathers, another good old English memory. Since deVOL began back in 1987 we have always had lovely blues in our colour palette, but in the last few years lighter blue seemed to have lost the battle with the dark navys and blue blacks. Not anymore, it’s back on the scene and hoping to rival its cousin and deVOL favourite ‘Pantry Blue’. Of course blue is easy to match with white but when I put it next to our ‘Old Rose’ I thought how lovely they looked together, a little 50’s I thought. Imagine it with Carrara Marble worktops and our new antiqued silver knobs, I think this combination would look so chic and pretty.
We really hope you like these new additions to the Real Shaker Kitchen range, that now means our customers have ten cupboard colours to choose from. If you cant find the right colour for you then remember we offer a bespoke paint service for an additional 10% on the cost of each cupboard.
