For over a year now, our resident potter Claire has been tinkering and toiling away in the ceramics studio at Cotes Mill to produce an ever-growing range of classic tabletop items for the kitchen, from little espresso cups to grand pouring bowls and colanders. Claire is also a true expert with colour; her incredible knowledge and almost scientific approach to glaze chemistry is simply fascinating. She has created a collection of beautiful glazes that just make us so happy, the gentle colours are stunning.
A sweeping statement it may be, but we believe that Claire’s pots could best be described as ‘trusty, stylish classics for everyday life.’ It’s good for the soul to buy something that will last and age something that isn’t just throwaway or mass produced and so we are really excited to be able to offer all of our customers these handcrafted and beautiful items for the home. They are available to purchase from all of our showrooms.
