This kitchen is a lesson in keeping it simple! A stunning Georgian terrace just off Regent's Park, this house is full of original features, big windows and generous proportions. The decision to pare it all back and keep things plain and understated was brave, it is so easy to fill these spaces with opulence and big things, as that feels the right thing to do. However, this family has created such elegance with our Classic English kitchen range and a curated choice of carefully chosen objects.

Nothing that is not useful or beautiful was the brief here and it has totally won us over, every little detail seems almost insignificant, but when you delve deeper you see each and every bowl, picture and light is perfectly picked for its simplicity, shape and style.

We particularly love the regimented order of cupboards and drawers, keeping the design symmetrical and balanced always gives a more bespoke look that is easy on the eye and creates a calmness that is almost palpable. We always recommend trying your best to minimise the amount of different door fronts in your new kitchen, it can really make a difference.

Bowled over is an understatement, this kitchen has blown us away and will surely be the ‘go to’ project for inspirational ideas and confirmation that less is definitely more.
